SOME SIGNIFICANT MILESTONES IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE DEPARTMENT

 

• Out patient services started since February, 1986.
• In patient services started since December, 1987.
• Drug and Poisoning Unit established in collaboration with Departments of Clinical Pharmacology and Toxiology in 1986.
• Special clinics (Headache & Epilepsy, Psychosexual, Drug and Alcohol Deaddiction and Child Psychiatry) started since 1988.
• Mental Health Project started on 1989.

• Drug Rehabilitation Center building construction started on 1996.
• Child Guidance Clinic reorganized since January, 1997.
