The Department is preparing to initiate related courses such as M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology, M. Phil. Psychiatric Social work and Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing in near future.
Efforts are going on to develop a national level Centre for Child Mental Health and Development.
Drug rehabilitation day care centre will be started once the building gets completed this year.
A Mental Health Block will be constructed in the near future to house the scattered activities of the Department soon.
